Paris match
If you don't have one
large artwork, make
a statement by filling a
space with a collection
of smaller prints or
photographs, which can
be a random group or
related, such as these
black-and-white shots
of Paris. To help get the
position right, mark a
rectangle with masking
tape as a guide and hang
your pictures within it.
Decorator’s tips
■ A group of frames should be in proportion to the
size of the room - large frames or too many frames can
dominate and overwhelm a small room.
■ Maintain a similar distance between frames, but don't
leave too much space. The gap between each frame should
be more than 5cm and should not be wider than the width
of the pictures themselves.
■ Position the centre of the group at about eye level.
